I wrote Newtek a letter a couple months ago after reading about the
upgrade policy in VTU. In the letter I explained that I felt like I
was being punished for buying a complete system (which I have two,
purchased long before the standalone was ever seriously talked
about). Newtek's customer service dept. called me back and again I
explained how I felt. I finally got the guy to admit that the policy
might not be exactly fair. When I asked how the policy might be
changed he suggested that I write a letter. UGGGGGG! Do you think
if enough of us expressed concern that it would have an impact? I
really want to use LightWave on a Pentium.
